Julie,
Welcome aboard! have a 6 yr.sailor that was on a sub but now going to be a recruiter. I am sure within a few days someone will come on board for you. If not the Texas Moms, in other places. It's fun searching all the discussions and things! If not I can get answers to some of your questions. Also, I have a son in Nacogdoches (sp) never can remember how to spell it correctly. Anyway, he lives there so I go to East Texas quite a bit..maybe we can do lunch or something and at least show off our sailors to each other? Isn't is just the proudest feeling you've had? The other girls on here are going to get sick of me always bumped about the Navy...but I just can't help it! I haven't gotten the routine of this site yet but it seems we kinda of switch days...some are on for a long time one day not the next and then others do that to. Makes for good chats. If you don't get your answers here you won't get them answered. The gals on here are great...they think of questions complie the answers and get right on here and share their experiences. It's absolutely the best thing since lipstick!
Your sailor mom friend,
Betty
