I live in Wichita Falls also. My daughter is currently stationed in Japan, and is awaiting new orders due any time.

I am from Plano (Dallas suburb) and just joined N4M. My son is a DEPper with a SEAL contract, and ship out date at this time is 9/17. I've learned so much from this site and talk to my son about it daily! I feel like I know more than he does about what he's in for!!

I live in Murphy. My son and daughter-in-law are stationed in San Diego. They are at different bases since he is on a sub and she is on a marine support ship.

my sailor son Austin is coming home for some RR and is coming to DFW airport around 9p.m.
this eveing June 26th AA airlines Terminal D Gate 38 Baggage claim D31
unless the airlines changes it

If anyone wants to meet us there to Welcome him home for some RR
he would appreicate it.

I live in North Richland Hills. My son is stationed in Brunswick, Maine. He just went back to Brunswick yesterday after a 2 week vacation at home. The temp was 105 when he left here and 72 when he returned to Maine.

we live in Rowlett

Son was scheduled to ship for basic April 22 '09, but Navy called and offered a scholarship 2 weeks before he was to go. So now he's NROTC at U of New Mexico and headed to orientation Aug 18. We had no idea he had applied for the scholarship but his recruiter was really good about helping thru that process 'cause I didn't hear a word about it until it happened.
