Praying for all the servicemen, women, civilians and their families involved/affected in today's tragic shooting. Let us all support one another and our military families during this very sad time. God bless you all...

I was visiting a sick friend and as I was leaving I just heard about the 12 soldiers.I just can not understand why they would kill our own. My prayers for the men and their families, may God grant them peace and comfort, May He give those who did this the justice they deserve. Please Father watch out for our military, they give their lives so we may have freedom.

Hi ladies. Will check on comments that I've missed, but didn't know if you were aware, shootings at Ft Hood, 12 dead, many wounded. Lots of prayers ladies!!!

Eagle mom...my heart goes out to you!!! How long will your son be away? I hope the time flies by quickly and he safely returns home. In the meantime, hang in there, don't run out of kleenex, stay busy, and he'll be home before you know it! Take care & God Bless!

Hi, all. My son just flew off to Europe and my heart is breaking all over again. i wonder when this will all become commonplace and i will stop have flashes of him as a little boy, as a teenager, as he is now. My heart grieves that he will never again live here in this house that was his home. i want to howl with the pain of it.
My head hurts from the thoughts and the tears. i fear i don't feel very brave or strong --not the least bit eagle-like.
Anybody want to meet a weepy Navymom in Dallas? Maybe at the Zoo? or the Art Museum? or Dallas World Aquarium? i desparately need a distraction.

Awesome! I love "adopting!" I've already adopted a recruit a few weeks ahead of my son's division, because someone let another mom know of a recruit not getting any mail.

My son is in NMCB 22...but I'm checking out 74!!!! I love me some SeaBees! :)
