Marianne - I believe we are sharing the same weather pattern as I think we are practically neighbors!  I moved here form CA so I am ready for some sunshine and warmer temps!!

Oooh Debbie,  I did that yesterday and my legs and back are screaming at me today!!!  The yard looks so much better for it though!  Wish that the SUN would come out here!   We had half day of it yesterday, but now we are back to clouds again!  We are STUCK in some sort of pattern that has been with us going into week 2 now!  Enough already!

Del El Bor I'm so happy and jealous at the same time of your experience.  You must have been on cloud 9 during your time with your Sailor.  My son sent me some pictures of becoming a shellback.  I gasped initially, he's changed so much.  He looks great, his upper body has filled out from all of the gym time after shift.  I stared at the pictures for sometime through tears and smiles.  It seems like forever since I had seen that smile I love so much.  I can't wait for homecoming.  I'm so happy you had a chance to see your Sailor and ours.

Good Morning All!  Just heard from my sailor son, saying he is in port, that it is amazing but wishes his family was there with him.......so sweet! Can't wait to hug him.  Hope you all have a wonderful Sunday.  Husband and I are going to get down and dirty this afternoon with some much needed backyard landscaping.....wish me luck!

Hi DJ...JetockeyMom...Welcome...you're in the right group...when did your son  get assigned to the squadron...my son is there too...and I had a wonderful time with him when they had a four-day port call.  I got to see the happy faces of the sailors shopping around the malls...so to all navymoms here, your sailors are looking great and I'm not only proud of my son but to all of them...I got to hug my son and enjoy his company with my family and friends...it's more than a TG...just hate the last day when I  gave him a hug and see him go with the rest of the sailors...I'm one very proud and happy mama!

LOL!!!! Navybum soooo true about stocking up.  Our food bill has gone done since Joey joined.  Im sure a trip to Sams Club will be made b4 he gets here. And yes I will be there in spirit.
