Navy For Moms

Hi everyone,

My son has just been sent to the Truman. He was med-dropped out of Spec Ops and did not have a classification, so was sent to work corrosion control. Anyone know what this entails? Also, he said he's staying on a barge? He said all the lockers have already been spoken for and has no place to put his stuff?

I,m also new my son will be out of A school in a couple of weeks and then to the Truman I heard it is out of the fleet till sometime in the summer  Don't know for sure

Hi there. Yes, I heard the Truman just came out of dry dock but won't see the fleet for quite some time as it is in for maintenance. My son also has orders to report, but has no idea what he will do until he actually ships out. He's home on leave at the moment. I hope we see more activity here as the ship head to sea.

My daughter just reported this past week. She seems to like it.
