Who knows we may have an opp. to meet another Navy family..???
Is your son stationed in VA - could go out along the coast 'runs'....?
Ahhh Congrats AlwaysReady!
So what is the difference between days and nights Always? My son was on days, just went to nights like 2 weeks ago and wants to go back to days. His hours and rotations are the same whether days or nights. Says he comes home exhausted and then can't sleep during the day because there is too much noise and commotion going on.
So does anyone out there know if or how sailors get into Busch Gardens for free? My son says he is allowed to get in free once a year but when I went to the site it says no military discount given at the gate and it gives a web site to go to and when I went to the site it didn't help at all. Then I emailed the park and they never responded. Anyone with info on this? Always? You seem to get the questions anwered, any ideas? Any help would be great I am going to see my son in about 10 days.
Glad T got housing on base Francine. My son has always been in housing on base and does absolutely fine with it. Remember our meeting, how coincidental and we wanted to meet up! I was so happy to meet you and miss you now. Our meeting at homecoming was way to quick!
Annette the base is huge but your son will quickly adapt-he doesn't really have a choice but to quickly adapt. He will be fine. Deep breath. Then he will also need to know the ship yard as that is where the ship is.

Busch Gardens, they go, they fill out the paper, they take said paper which is by the ticket counter and their ID to the ticket counter and magic! :) We used ours the weekend before deployment last year. This year I am not sure we will go because of me being pregnant. We shall see. Its very easy to do though :)
