My daughter just got assigned to this ship. She will go to San Diago in July. Thought I would join this group and see if you have a Facebook page as well.

Still trying to figure out shipping packages. My first 2 got there within 3 weeks. Since then I have sent 2 more and it's ben 5 weeks and he is still waiting. I hope he gets them because they contain some items he really wants. I have started another box but will prob wait a bit to send as I think he will end up with all of them at the same time. Lol. Hopefully these packages find their way to the ship!

Hi Darla, I don't get many emails either. I am assuming from your name your son is an OS?  Mine is also, from the few I have gotten they seem pretty busy.  My son is actually "cranking" now so I have received one email each week for the last two weeks but prior to that they were very sparse. The first box I sent took a few weeks to get to him, I just sent my second one about 10 days ago still no word if he got it.

Since my son met up with the ship in Guam I have only received two e mails from him and that was sometime ago. Has anyone heard from them and when? Also yesterday the 20th of March I sent my son a care package, how long does it usually take for them to get those? Thanks..Darla

I haven't heard anything either since they were in port, I will say my son's attitude was a bit more serious on that last call.  I figured since much hasn't been posted from the ship on the Facebook page either they must be busy.  It is hard not to worry but I am just trying to keep in mind they are at work.
