Sam, don't worry about doing anymore bags and use the money to ship your packages. Like I said let's wait and see if we can get some of the other moms to help out.

ChariB, that video is wonderful I have watched it on here so many times. Its like
I told dn before I don't know all of the sailors in that video. But I will tell you they
all feel like they belong to me. Its beautiful but I haven't suceeded in sending it
to family cause it won't let me send it to an email address off the site. So I
will figure it out. dn Your pile looks like my spare bedroom I have all my stuff
lined out like a factory line and you can barely get in the door and close it
to keep the dogs out. Cause Luci will eat the candy.

Hi, Ladies I just got thru speaking with Sewjoyful on the phone. We had a
wonderful conversation. She is going to help us out with a donation and with
that donation I will commit to 50 for sure if not more additional goody bags.
So with what I have of 10 extra that is a for sure 60 bags good Lord willing it
will be more. So Pat is it possible for you to tell me how far from our goal
we are so I know how far to stretch her donation past 50 if possible. Because
tommrow I will be going out to purchase items to get those bags made and
ready to ship. I got the last item for my bags today so I will finish them tonight.
So Sewjoyful thank you so much for making many more sailors feel loved and
have a little Christmas joy because of you gracious help. You are a blessing.

Hi Ladies, I've been reading the comments & noticed that the cost of mailing the packages will be an issue for some. If this is the case, let's just wait a few days and maybe we'll get some more offers to help with the project. I'll send a message to the group and see if we can get additional help and I'll send an email to those on the birthday list. It never hurts to ask.

Our anthem for this year's Christmas ... "I'll have a blue Christmas without you ... I'll be so blue thinking about you ...". This is why DN's Christmas video always brings tears to my eyes whenever I watch it. It is so heartwarming and I get emotional watching it.
DN, thanks again for the beautiful creation! My sister loved it that she posted it on her FB profile, with pride for her nephew, and for everyone to see the many deicated men and women serving our country.
