Oh Tim works nights too and didn't say a word about the USO visit either. Who knows! He sounds like he has an awful lot of work right now and not too much down time. This can be a good thing for him as he does not sit still for long!!!
FYI....Don't know whether anyone else here has had a real time with their local post offices with the new customs forms and the flat rate military boxes, but we live in a big town with 2 post offices and they both had different customs forms and there is STILL alot of confusion with what the charge is for the military boxes! This has been going on for 2 deployments now and I had just had enough with arguing with these offices so I filed a complaint to the USPS about it today. I will let you know how that turns out. I am telling you all this cause I think we do need to speak up when it concerns something for our military who as US citizens we need to support them and if the USPS has provided these boxes then they should know what they are for goodness sakes! I had to speak up for us as their families and for them who are receiving these packages! Just had to vent and make everybody aware. Hopefully, your post offices are a little more in tune with their products and services!!!!

Hey Casey...i agree with valjameson. Take care of yourself and do whatcha gotta do. You don't want to resent him for it later. It'll all work out. ;-}

I missed two of Jacob's phone calls!! :'( What kind of phone cards do they use and can i get one here and send it to him? I've asked him and he just tells me "that's ok mom i'll get it" but i think he'll try harder to call me if i payed for it. Is that Momma coercion? What ever works. ;-)

When was that USO thing happening? Jake last emailed me on Saturday and he didn't mention anything about it. Take care y'all!

I got e-mail about the USO visit too (Leanne Tweeden is a playboy model) but since Dylan is working the night shift he's not sure he'll see it.

Good for you Casey. You sound like a smart woman. Make your life happy. Don't let your life revolve around a phone call or email. It will happen. You are doing the right thing to let him have his space but hopefully he will be considerate enough not to block you out. You need one another now. He should realize that. Also, good that you have someone on the inside. It's got to be really tough on you but you deserve some answers. Good luck Casey. Stay mentally healthy and keep yourself happy. That is so important. Making time for each other is a healthy relationship, but for now, you take care of you!!

Just got an awesome email from my son, Kevin. He was so excited because he said that it was another day to be proud to be in the NAVY considering the help from the USO and the Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Admiral Mike Mullen came on board early afternoon. He was able to get photos by the American flag. He was so excited. He also said the USO put together and called it the chairman's summer troop visit. Bradley Cooper from wedding crashers, Warrick Dunn, pro footbal player, Don Shula, former Dolphins coach, D.B, Sweeney and Leanne Tweeden all came aboard adn the UFC 100 (pay per view) also played again on AFN TV. Now, I'm not sure who Sweeney and Leanne Tweeden are, but that is what he wrote. The others, I was familiar with. I hope your sons were able to be a part of this "break in the routine". He has not been affected with the flu but said many have been. He claims they are keeping them hydrated all the time. You can imagine the tight quarters and how impossible it is to keep them from catching something. I have not heard anything about it being H1N1 virus. It's your common flu from what I am hearing. Bless all our Sailors and their famililes. Casey, I've been wondering about you. How you doing?

Laura, you should be able to pull up this group and click on join group and get back in. Right now it says Leave Group on my screen but if I wasn't a member it would say Join Group. Can you get to that? If not, try searching for this group and find it from scratch rather than coming in through the back door the way you have been. I wouldn't think you could post if you weren't a member. If you don't get emails you might just have stopped "following" and in that case you could just go up to the right hand side and click "follow." Does that help?

A few days ago I accidentally clicked on the wrong link and I need help. I clicked on the "Stop following this group, go to" and I need to get back in the group. I have saved the comment of one of your emails, so that is how I get back on, I still have my page. I KNOW THIS SOUNDS CONFUSING.....cause I'm confused as well. hahahahahahh..HELP....I want to still receive comments from all of you. MISS YOU ALL!!!

My boyfriend has the flu right now and he said it is spreading around. Every since boot camp he gets sick every time he goes someplace new. Poor guys, i hope everyone gets over the sickness soon.
