OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Missingyou,

My husband and I open our home on the weekends and invite sailors to come over. We eat together and play board games, watch movies , go to different activities in the area and we would love to invite your son when he gets here. To find out more about us, check our our page on this site. :)

My son will be coming to Virginia next month. He says he’ll be on a cruiser. Is tha an actual ship and will they go places. He says he will be there for a year. And then he has to stike for his next job. He wants to be a Gunner Mate. It seems like everything is moving fast now. Graduation is next week. Then 10 days in Great Lakes and then home for 5 days. Then he comes to Virginia. Im so excited for him and glad to be apart of this group. I’m open for any and all information. Thanks moms
