Navy For Moms

Hi Moms,

It was suggested by Angie to start a discussion for our seperate bases, since there are so many bases in WA. My son is now with VQ-2

My son is there at Whidbey Island. He is a Yeoman and has been there since August. He is attached with the VP-40 group. Anyone else with a sailor attached to the same unit.

Becky, I put the tag (VP-40) in so hopefully moms do an inquiry into the groups section and see this site.

Thank you Carolyn. I hope to meet some other moms dads...ect with sailors that might know mine. How are you and your family doing? My son, Michael, goes back to Whidbey Island on Sunday. I hear he has a little snow waiting for him. Take care and Merry Christmas. Becky

I think my son is attached to the same group. He has been in Iraq and Qatar. And now back at Whidbey Island. Have you found any other moms? I tried to put Vp 40 under search but nothing came up

My son is there but he's in school for AT for EP-3 I think he goes to VQ-1 when he's done with school.

My son will finish AT C school (also EP-3s) the end of this month. After that, he reports across the street to VQ-1.

Hello Moms,
My sailor is at Whidbey Island and is stationed with VAQ-135. He has been there since April of this year. He loves it there and has a great Navy support system and wonderful shipmates.

Hi Kate, My son is in VAQ132. He has been in the Navy for 9 years (this June) and his home base has been Whidbey Island ever since he left A School!. Four deployments so far but none actually ON a ship. Anyone else confused by that concept? LOL Love My Sailor, Love My Country, God Bless America =)
