Was proud and encouraged it
From my experience with the Navy, the most important thing I learned was:
Be PATIENT! It may seem like a long time waiting to hear from them, but no news is good news, especially during boot camp.
Through this Navy experience, I now believe:
It was positive and maturing. Our relationship has grown stronger.

Boy Adele, I'm glad I'm not the only one who posts on her page for another person! ! ! So what is the Blue Jacket? FMTB is Field Medical Training Battalion. He has been assigned to a Marine Unit (who will possibly deloy to Afg in April maybe?) and he is in Marine Boot Camp. He said that it isn't as hard as Navy Boot Camp. But he is learning how to handle the big stuff now. He is thriving on it...put a needle in a pigs heart, etc...loving it. Dawn and Scott are presently on a long trip. She posted on my page this morning. I just wanted to touch base with you. We are going to Tucson to see my Dad who is not doing well and then to SanDiego, Camp Pendleton to see Chris graduate. He then will have a couple weeks leave and will come home for Christmas. Everyone here is doing okay. Andrew got a good job and is doing okay. Leslie made probation and is doing well dispatching. Floyd is so, so.. bored and hurts. I am currently not working...hope to by January. So anyway, keep in touch. Glad to chat. Ruth

Good Morning Ruth! It is so nice to hear from you. Andrew got Blue Jacket of the Quarter for the second quarter in a row. So, they asked him to have a new picture taken for the wall. He has really grown up since I last saw him. I am glad to hear that Chris is doing well. What is an FMTB? I hope Floyd, Leslie and her family and Drew are all well. You are a lucky woman, you have the nicest family. Have you heard from Cathie, Mary, or Dawn. I think of Scott often, and keep him in my prayers. Well, have a good sunny day. Hope to chat soon. Adele

Adele,

Tell Andrew, Jared will like to meet him, Making a new friend is all ways welcome and he can show Jared around. We are only 8 hours from Kings Bay, We will be making trips there quite offend, and his brother is only three hours away. And don’t worry about call him you baby, I Always tell Jared the same thing. Thank you for all the information, Jared will be arriving this Thursday May 14, 2009, Jared is PRP.

adele, i noticed your son is in kings bay and was wandering if he liked the base and if there were alot of things to do and has he had a chance to venture out. i have a daughter at lackland and she mentioned kings bay and bangor, wa as one of the choices after a school.

Henry got his orders he has to go to Great Lakes IL for additional training and then he is off to Norfolk VA. He is happy about that. We don't know what ship yet though... How is Andrew doing
