Hi Alicia,

I am pretty sure my daughter Heather is in A school with Courtney and they are good buddies. I searched on N4M's to find a Bannister and I found you! They also were friends in Boot Camp. Heather was in DIV 241 and PIR was 7/3/08. Heather is in the A school for MR and she said Courtney is MM.

Are you the right proud Grandma?

Hi ALicia,
My name is Teri Konkle. My son Henry McKinney was with your grandaughter the day they left from Lansing in May. Funny story. We were sitting in the family room at the MEPS in Lansing and recruits were only allowed in there if they had family in there. As we sat there 3 gals popped up on the couch they were resting and the one gal(your grandaughter) said "you guys are our parents, right" We said sure .That way they could stay in the room. We remembered her last name on her shirt and saw her at PIR. She remembered my ex husband, Anyway from that short time we said she would be in the top because she was a go getter. And she was,... We are from Albion Michigan.. So Congrats and we had the tissues too. Wasn't it awesome?

What a proud day!!! we where so honored to to have our g/daughter be an honor grad. we where exscrted out as a group and we where interduced to all the cammanding officers. They all had wonderful thinks to say about her and all she has acomplished. We spent the day with her here at the motel so she could play with her dog, he was so excited to see her. She said she was afraid he would forget her but he didn't he could not stop licking her I cryed to see them together. We are ll going to bed early so we can be up early to pick her up. Oh ya her choice of food when we left base was Burger King, Jr. whopper fries and a coke. Congrats to all the sons and Daughter that graduated to -day . Hip Hip Hooray to our sailors. Alicia

Christy, sure wished I knew why we are not getting a phone call. I am so afraid I will miss it I have been so careful to have a phone with me at all times but I am getting really busy with getting ready to leave we leave Sunday. I will have my lap top with me so I can stay up to date on all on here. I have heard from my Gdaughters other Gmom that they heard my Gdaughter was choosen as and Honor recruit. There will be a special reception after Grad for the Honor recruits. My Gdaughters family in Mich. got the letter today so maybe I will get one tomorrow telling me or she might want it to be a surprise. Anyway I think I am about to bust with pride
