there's not too much walking to do at PIR, i'm pretty clutzy so heels just weren't a good idea for me. period. haha.
but heels wouldn't be bad,you could always bring a bag with you and put a pair of flats or something in it, just in case!

it's amazing :) but either way you'll get to spend lot's of time with him even if it's not overnight liberty. at least he doesn't have to leave the day of PIR :)

well Derrick got over night liberty. but is your boyfriend going to A school in Great Lakes? "liberty weekend" most likely means overnight liberty, just worded differently. i sure hope so, because it was amazing :)
and yes, he got to stay at the hotel with us and only had to call into base at night to check in.
