I am a Navy Recruiter in Western Illinois, have served 8+ years as an Aviation Electronics Technician (AT1) and have 2+ years left on my current tour

Hey, I'm glad you're here! Why weren't you at the iwireless tonight with everyone else? I made two deppers sort of turn white. They were giving me a bad time because I was showing off my Air Force pin from the next table. Of course, I dished it back, so they responded again--nothing inappropriate--Chief was right there. But then I asked when they were going to BC--July, they said. I told them they'd meet my son, an instructor, and they got sort of nauseous looking, all serious and sheepish. Then they asked what instruction, and I told them weapons. They looked at Chief and said, "You didn't tell us we get to play with guns!"
