Hi Angela, How are you? Have you heard from Brice? How is he doing? I was just wanting to catch up with friends and see how everyone is doing. I'm on leave from work and it's been some time I just wanted to let you know I was thinking about you today. Leann

My husband hasn't been to Owensboro for about 20 years. He talks alot about how nice it is back there. He has relatives in Owensboro and Livermore which I heard is even smaller. My son is a Seabee attached to a Navy Seal Team in San Diego. He's been in almost 10 years, went in at 17 and just made Chief. He's been on the ground in Iarq 3 times. Scary!! I'm so blessed he made it back safe and sound!

Hi Angela, My husband was born in Owensboro. Is it still the small town he said it is? What does your son do in the Navy?

Hi Angela, they just sent out a huge post saying we can NoT post any thing about the ship....date, times, coming into port or out...It's on the Main page....If you could, would you take off the post below mine as it has ship info and you could get into trouble for having it on your page and let Beth know. They Navy got onto this web site and said we can't post info that puts our sailors in harms way as it's not a secure site. Please don't think I'm telling you what to do with your page , it's just yours and my sailor are on that ship and who know''s who is reading our info. I'm not trying to sound rude I just wanted to let you know. BtW , I wanted to say welcome to The Ike family. :]

Hi Angela. Welcome to N4M. My son is also stationed on IKE, and we were there for F&F day- one word for that... AWESOME!! Tim works on the deck in crash and salvage- red shirts that you saw during the air show. This site is a God send for the moms. There is so much support, not only with the coping with having a son in the military, but for anything.
