My son just graduated and it seems that all the divisions are being told that they might not graduate on time if they don't get their act together. I think it's a way of motivating them to do what they need to do. My son said the exact same thing ...
May 29th graduation was fantastic. The weather was perfect and we enjoyed Chicago...not enough time with my sailor, tho'! Very memorable and we're so proud of him!

- I can only imagine how excited you are for your son to come home! I'm excited for my husband to come home and he hasn't even left yet!! I am a member of the AZ moms group. I just had the thought to search for an LDS group and I'm so glad there is one! We live in Gilbert right now. We bought our second home down here about a year ago. We love it! I don't get out to the West Valley much but I'd love to meet you sometime! I'm planning on going to one of the AZ moms meetings but it might be hard with 3 kids! We'll see though!

We have something for everyone here groups from boot camp moms to overseas moms and moms that like to scrap book. We have meet and greets to events that the moms set up to meet each other and have dinner or an outing. There are groups to help you with each and every step of this wonderful adventure that our children have chosen called the US Navy.
Please tell us about your sailor and what they have chosen to do in the navy and ohh yeah we LOVE pictures of everyone !!

Traveling to Great Lakes for Boot Camp Graduation
Does anyone have suggestions as to where to stay and the best places to go while my son is on shore leave? He has been in Basic since April 7 and is in Div. 207. He will graduate on May 29th if all goes as planned. My husband and I will be going to the ceremonies but have never been to the area. We live in AZ and have no experience with the military.
