I just put togethaer a small care package for my son-in-law. Stepped outside to go over to the post office. Felt like I was smack in the middle of the Mojave. I could hardly breathe. We must have bad air quality due to all the fires. But sky looks...

I found myself interesting in doing support for all branches of military and want to see if there are any moms or families that are interested in starting up hometown support groups or wide spread. See also my care package idea group site.

Hi Anita: I was wondering if you are going to the M&G at Bea's on the 25th? If you would like to car pool down, I'm driving my Tahoe. I am picking up Linda at Sierra College & I-80 and Jody at Greenback and I-80. I have a total of five seatbetls - two left - would you like to join us?? Hope all is well with you, Susan

Anita,
Can you private message me so I can PM you back? Or do you have a private email I can write you? I have a question I would like to ask but not in the forum.
Thanks,
Dee

I live in Rockford, Illinois ( 90 minutes west of Chicago) It is expected to snow until 3 PM today. So I have to get out there adn shovel. Have a wonderful time at the coffee talk. And thanks again for the invite. Terry

Hi Anita,
Thanks for the nice welcome. I will tell my mom that she is welcome to attend the event in Chico. She lives alone and I think it is good for her to get out and do things and meet people. She will be 85 on Feb. 19 and she is still very active. If you look at the pictures on my page, there is one of her and my son, Pete. She is the little lady in the purple dress.
Your dau and son-in-law are going to Japan! Will you be able to arrange a trip while they are there?
Take care, Lynn

Hi Anita,
I read about the Chico event and told my mother who lives in Orland. She said if it is a nice day she would love to go. Her name is Grace and she is exceptionally proud of her grandson, Peter. He is an engineering officer on the USS Louisiana out of Bangor, WA. So, if she appears, I thought I would let you know where she came from. I told her the Navy moms are a very friendly group and would be happy to see a Navy Grandma too.
Thanks, Lynn

Anita, just wanted to thank you for the html info, now I just have to figure out what to do with it all, LOL. I usually just do a "save as" for my graphics and put them on a folder on my computer then just do a download. I never make my own graphics although I have a photo program that would probably do it.

I haven't figured out on the forum "format" how come when I say I want to reply to a comment on my personal page why it sends me here. I hope it is okay! Thank you for all your help. I love coming in and seeing your pictures.
