It must be hard having Kimo so far away. Jeremy's PIR was just before Thanksgiving, then to Lacklank for A-school. Then he'll be gone for 2 years, I worry about how well we will be able to handle that.

Dear Arlene,
How wonderful that Kimo is home. Then he took off to see his friends, don't you just love that!! HAHA!!

I felt so bad when Kim was home, I had no money to do anything with her. I get a monthly check. Thank God for her friends, they kept her busy!!

How long a drive was it for Kimo?
That is a fear I have, the long distance driving. Kim wants to do it as well. The trip from Virgina to here, is 7 hours.

I'll let you get going. Have a wonderful New Year!

Take care and God bless.

Dear Arlene,
I am so happy for you, Kimo comes home next week.
My Kim was home last month, that's why she couldn't get leave again.

I was so relieved, Kim called and said she received our Christmas Package.
I was just so thankful that she made some friends and shared Christmas with them.

When Kim was home, I just kept hugging and kissing her. Enjoy your time with Kimo, the time flys by so quickly when they're home.
Let me get going. Have a wonderful and healthy New Years.
Take care and God bless.

Dear Arlene,
How are you doing? This Navy for moms is such a blessing.

What does Kimo do in the Navy?

I'm still new. My daughter Kim just started on her ship, the USS Norrmandy in Virginia, but the ship is drydocked for a year. Therer's no need for what she was trained for yet. She is an Operational Specialist, she reads the radar.

I hope to hear from you again.
Take care and God bless.
