Sorry Barb that none were your son. I was really surprised to see how small their sleeping quarters are while on ship. My son, Josh, has only been over there for 1 month. Told me he already misses America. Asked what he missed and he said everything. I do have some boxes and hope to mail out this weekend. Only thing he asked for were the white tshirts to wear under his uniform. Not sure if he can "cook" anything in his room so I'm not sure what kind of treats I can send him.

Hi Barb, would love to post the pictures but remember I am computer challenged. Have no clue on how to do that. If you want to give me your email address I'll be happy to forward them to you. There are only 3 individual pictures.

Thank you but i wanted to kill him. When i answered the phone he said he had bad news that he wasn't a recruit anyone. Than he waited to tell me he passed. I will get him for that.

Hi Barb, I woke in the middle of the night and early in the morning thinking of my son and the others. I receive a letter from Nathan last Saturday, and he said he has been sick for a week and it is only getting worse. Then I read somewhere all the kids in my sons div are sick with the cold/flu. I'm praying for my son and all the other recruits, they get well and pass. Sure glad we all have this site for support, I can't imagine going through this without NFM's.

Barb, I didn't hear from my son for about 2 weeks and on Saturday received a letter. He said it is getting harder and he has been sick for a week. I think they have so much to cram in in a short amount of time that they are too tired to call or write, but hey, I'm ok with that if they just can pass everything so they can PIR on time. Take care.
