Thanks. Austin is a DC on the ship. Yes Texas is a little far from Norfolk, would have loved to be there when his ship deployed. I am so glad to have this site, helps alot. Austin wants me to send him some things. Melissa said that she sent her husband some things and it took about 2 weeks, I hope it does not take much longer. Have a great day and look forward to talking to you soon.

Oh my gosh can't believe this, yesterday I was thinking I need to touch base with Barabara and poof here you are. Hmm, power of thinking... I only here from Ryan about once a month. :( He moved the 3rd week of June to a more remote base in the south part of the country. 1 shower a week,1 cooked meal a day as many MRE's as he wants. and 1 cold drink a day also as many "warm" ones he wants. His bed is on a hill so he slides out. I told him I would send velcro. But, strange a this may sound, he like this place better than the base he was at from March to June. He told me he wanted it tough and that he has. He's the only Navy guy there so he likes..being his own boss. He was very sick a few weeks ago I found out from his GF. "5 days,30 trips to the porta jon,3 epic puck sessions, 7 missed meals,2 IV's and a pile of pills." he told her. I talked to him about 3 weeks ago and he said then that he wasn't feeling well then. From what I've been told alot of the guys in the more remote locations get this. Sorry maybe I just gave you to much info. Other than that he's learning a lot of things from the Army guys. I guess when his work is under control he helps them. There are many French military on his base as well. I wonder if he'll learn to speak French? He has told his friend he misses the states.
How long has Eric been out on the ship and when is he due back? Hope he's doing well in his job. Thank you for thinking of Ryan. You are such a kind person. Hope all is well with you. Are you still real busy with work?

In the AECF group, I started a thread a while ago called...wives club for ETs and FCs...........I believe she might have posted a note in there as well.

Maybe we will find some other Cook families now that Jackie started a group for the ship.

Barbra, I started a group for the USS Donald Cook Family. Go to groups and search that name and join. It will make it easier for all of us to talk.

You are better than me, I would not even try mafia wars. LOL. Yes, your message made it to my page. No I am not ready for this to happen. Do you think that I should start a group on here for the families of this ship and see if we find anymore moms?

Barbra, I did not get your message, You need to post it on my page not yours. Lol I found it by coming to your page. I think that john said your son will start his cranking a little later. John volunteered so he could get it behind him.
Are you ready for next week?
