- About me:
- I am a proud Sailor's mom!! My daughter Kimberly graduated last year, June 6, 2008. The Navy has brought out the best in her! WHO HAH !!
About me, I have been writting steady here for N4M, for a full year now. I love it, and have dedicated my hours here.
I used to be a medical assistant, licenced phelbotomist / EKG techniction, for many years.
I am happily married, my husband is Doug. I have an older daughter, Darlene and my son David. Plus a bunch of animals!
I am a Christian and love talking about God and Jesus.
For you new moms, please stay in contact with the other Navy moms here. We all went through this and we understand how your feeling.
Everyone here is more than happy to help you through this, especialy with Boot Camp.

- Was concerned or afraid
- From my experience with the Navy, the most important thing I learned was:
- Before she actually enlisted in the Navy, I told her of my fears, and that not everyone is for the Military life. In my next sentence, I told her, if she does like the Navy, it is a great career.
- Through this Navy experience, I now believe:
- It was positive and maturing. Our relationship has grown stronger.
