I actually got to call Tyler on his new cell phone and he answered and said "hi MOM"... Wow... I shipped his laptop and some things to him today overnight... Only cost about $40 so wasn't tooo bad...... Hope all is going well... JO
hi ladies, I'm so happy i got the first phone call on friday and i shipped his cellphone to him he should get it today. He has been calling me from a payphone though everyday sometimes even twice a day I'm loving it.
I'm starting to freak out but trying so hard not too, I keep telling myself he is probally busy checking in and processing and when he can he will call... I know everyone says no news is good news but i dont like it.
I am sure you will hear something soon... No call from my son yet but they just got moved over there yesterday??? It will be nice having him close so he can catch the train and come home for a few days... Hopefully in 3 weeks???? Good luck to all....

Not knowing things with our only child...riding this roller coaster ride - that I am not good at. I have to keep reminding myself to stand straight and firm. But there are moments that I just can't hold...
Praying a whole lot for our children out there; all the recruits and especially, our whole DIV!!!!

- I must be officially old (47) because I always bring a sweater! I think the weather there is like ours- but it's on the lake so it may be windy. Whatever you wear- your boyfriend will LOVE it!!!

- Thank you, the first days were the hardest but now from getting letters from him its better and this site helps alot!! In your situation its hard to special if she is your only child.

- Thanks for the tip- I'll try it! I keep praying that my daughter will be able to pass her pt tests- she pulled a groin muscle three weeks before she left which meant that she had to stop exercising completely- I've been worried that the lapse in training will cost her. I wish I could do more than pray!

Becky (Amanda's mom) said… - I went to check my picture and found out that after you found the picture you wanted, open it and then at the bottom of your page it says save. click on it and it will change. You can also add pictures to your photos. Just remeber to hit save. Amanda said that Tues they are having an inspection test and Thur they are have a final test. Not for for sure what that is on. I had heard they could be put back if they don't pass all of them. Good luck to them all.

- Hi Barbaranne 62. Finally got my first letter from Amanda. She said she was doing okay until the other day when they got extra PT cause 3 girls were talking. She also said they had their PFA test last Thur. Haven't heard whether or not she passed. Hoping for a call to say she did.

- I got my form letter Friday. I too had a small note at the bottom and like you, it was great just seeing her hand writing and knowing she is still okay. Now for the real letter???

- Just found another daughter in our daughters ship 11. She is the daughter of gemmarangeloff. she is in Div 324 which is my daughters Div.
