From everything I've read, he 900's are a service Div. they carry the state flags, help w/ ushering, play in the band for PIR etc... instead of just marching by in their Div group.

Please clarify for me..."service division". I don't understand...we won't have a reserved section for PIR? The recruits will be "all over"? I thought they came into the PIR by division. HELP? :)
We're about 7 hours fron you, in SW Missouri, a little south of Joplin. David is going into electronics engineering, but his heart is in nuke, he wants to eventually go into that field.

Great! I guess we won't really have a section to sit in since this is a "service Div". our recruits will be all over during PIR. We'll all have to try to at least meet-up.
Hello, my son Kyle is also Ship 06 Div 908. He is 18 and going for RP (chaplain's assistant). We are from East Tx...not far from Dallas. We are definitely planning on being there for PIR!

The letter came yesterday (to dtr-in-law), Ship 06 Div 908!! Will definitely be seeing you all on Jan 15th!!

Cindy, My son David really wanted Nuke, but they talked him into Electronics. He scored GREAT on his ASVAB, and definitely qualified, but the wait was too long... He hopes to eventually change to Nuke! That's his true passion!
Still no letter! But I am told that my son is in Div 908. (this is what My dtr-in-law was told, but with no letter, still no ship#! Sigh!! He left Nov 11th. Anyone else in 908?

I have not heard anything so far, although I did receive the box with all of his belongings last week, but I have not heard of what ship or division Brian is in.
