Bernie....thank you so much for the offer - we actually have relatives in KC as well - but we are headed out early Saturday morning and heading to Decatur, TN where my sister lives - Saturday will be the longest day - St. Louis is half way to our stay! Then on Sunday will get up early and head out the rest of the way - another 10 1/2 hour day - I figure if we change driving every three hours or so - it won't be too bad - Terry has already told me that I get to drive through the big cities - which is fine - driven them before so it shouldn't be a problem. I will be tired of driving by the time I get there - but really not any worse than driving to Chicgao for Graduation and then driving back! almost the same amount of time! At least when we get closer to Norfolk - Terry will be driving there, as he assures me he knows where he is going!!! Thank you again for the offer - it is greatly appreicated!!! :)

Our 4th was great and I loved the cooler weather and even the rain. We had more time to visit, play cards, and even go to a movie. Yes, I think that KC has changed a lot since we lived there. I like the new Power and Light area but they have closed so much, too. It seems like the Kansas side has really has become much more upscale in the past 10 years. I still love KC and am a BIG Chiefs fan. We named our dog Chief.

Hi Bernie....How have you been? Terry was deployed, but got back the end of March and no his wife is not in the Navy - she is from Trinidad and her brother-in-law (married to her sister) is a shipmate of Terry's. Very long story and hoping it works out!!! I am going to VA - we are driving Terry's car back and then I am flying home after a couple day visit - i will get to meet his new wife then. Terry likes being on the ship - he will not deploy until Oct of 2010 of course that all could change, as you know! It was nice hearing from you!
