Ryan graduated A school today and is coming home for 20 days! Then off to Japan we think...yikes!
beckilynn, ryan will be done with A school in only a couple of weeks, and he is taking me on vacation while hes back for 2 weeks :) and actually still talking here is best because we are still going through the same stages together pretty much :)
becca we just need an A school group now. I dont really need that much support anymore though which is why im not on here very much. I talk to him every day so its a little easier..just sad i cant see him, but only a couple more weeks again :)
There is no way I have enough time to read everything thats been posted since last thursday! Hope everyone had a great time, I know I did! It was amazing to see him and spend the whole weekend together :) It was nice meeting some of you as well!
thats what i said! but my boyfriends A school is only 4 weeks long, if not shorter than that :) thank god!
they need so sign out with another recruit. they dont get full liberty until about 4 weeks in..
hi ladies, im passing on my excitement! Im driving down to IL this afternoon, and i get to see my boyfriend tomorrow morning!! Its been a long two months! But if I can do it, the rest of you can do it too!
Hi everyone, I dont have time to read the million pages of posts, so I just want to say, THANK YOU for being my support group and making me look a little less crazy! Cant wait to meet some of you tonight, and see our boys tomorrow!!!
mary lou, maybe tomorrow, ill have enough energy to clean everyones house in port! ill be bouncing off the walls! like i said monday, i was ready to leave yesterday!

ok, who has some advice!? I have nothing but free time until we leave tomorrow night. Its only 12:30, and I have a feeling Im going to be sent to a mental institution courtesy of my mother :) Any suggestions?
jessica thats how i was last night, went to sleep around 4, because i just couldnt stay awake anymore, woke up around 10 and have been up ever since, i was waiting for his call and it was driving me nuts!

aww kristin thats exactly what my boyfriend said, and says everytime he calls :) i made it two months, and now i get to see him this friday :)

- My boyfriend Ryan left for boot camp on May 19th, and is about to graduate on July 17th. We have been together on and off, mostly on :) for about 3 years, and I have known him for almost 10. I just want to know some of the things I can expect while he is 'in the navy'.

- To be patient. Distance makes the heart grow fonder I suppose..

He's been in for a year now and I'm excited that he gets to go to Hawaii! You'll find a wealth of information here on this site. Along with Friendship, Support, Determination, Inspiration and good conversation! Have a Wonderful 4th of July and lets not forget why we celebrate it and how we preserve it! GO NAVY

Mary_Lou - Ryans Mom said… - Battle stations is a simulated 24 hour mission that the recruits do during the last week of their training. Think Disney inspired. The Navy has built a mock ship to simulate a disaster aboard ship and the recruits endure an overnight test to ensure what they have learned. In the upper tight hand corner of this page search battlestations and you will find a link to a video ;)

Ducky said… - pretty good. A lot better than I thought I would be. My family has been awesome support for me and the friends that I've made online between here and another site have been amazing. I get my letters towards the end of the week so it makes my weekends extra awesome. And I got two phonecalls within a week so it was like mass communication about two weeks ago haha. It was nice timing though, right in the middle of the two months.

We have something for everyone here groups from boot camp moms to overseas moms and moms that like to scrap book. We have meet and greets to events that the moms set up to meet each other and have dinner or an outing. There are groups to help you with each and every step of this wonderful adventure that our children have chosen called the US Navy.
Please tell us about your sailor and what they have chosen to do in the navy and ohh yeah we LOVE pictures of everyone !!

- I recieved 3 induvidual letters, but 7 total!, there were a few in the envelopes! And 4 phone calls as well!!!
I have been alot better now that there is only 17 days left!!! :)
