Married to my husband Brett for 30 years. Two children, Brynn 26 (recently moved back home after living in N. Hollywood for 4 years) and Beau 23. We also have three furry sons, Bugsy (10 yr old black cocker spaniel), Boomer (7 yr old black and white cocker spaniel) and Bogey (6 yr old golden retriever). I'm not working at the moment, but love working with children at the elementary level. Before quitting to finally finish my college education, I spent 7 years as a teaching assistant for Pre-Kindergarten and Kindergarten. I have many hobbies including sewing, reading, crafts, etc. I love to walk and I'm a pretty good amatuer photographer. I finally (after a 25 year hiatus to raise children, etc.) graduated from the University of Oklahoma in 2006 with a Liberal Studies degree. BOOMER SOONER!!

Time should be coming soon....if that grandbaby isn't here already. Be sure to post some pics. so we can all share in your joy. Patrick is home and is in IRR-individual ready reserves for the next 2 years, then out completely. He is starting back to college this summer and is going to go for his physician's assistant master's degree. What is Brynne up to these days? Is she still at home? Take care and stay in touch.

wow!! Congrats to Beau and his new wife....and YOU, Gramma-to-be! Happy he has a good job. Are they close to you? baby due when??? I pray they are happy and life sends them many wonderful moments together! Good to hear back from you. Justin has a pretty good job in Granite' installing(alot of kitchen counters). he just seems a bit lost with the Navy, wishing he could be more involved"...Now wishes he had Enlisted'! Mom doesn't mind him around though...One son gone is enough for me right now!

CONGRATS, Grandma! I am SOOO excited for you! Congrats and best wishes to Beau and Josie too! Claire got promoted today to ET3 and is really ready to head out to Biloxi. She leaves this coming Monday and is more than ready to leave theh cold from Chicago behind. We were up there for her graduation...in - 17 degrees temp with a -35 degrees windchill and 10" of snow on the ground. That is just WAY too cold for these East Texas gals! What is Brynne up to these days? Take care and stay in touch.

Hi Bobette,
Claire has her orders in hand...After graduation, she will go to Kessler AFB in Biloxi, MS for C school in meteorology. This should last about 2 months. Then it is off to Yokosuka, Japan on the USS George Washington. We have relatives living in Gulfport/Biloxi and are soooo excited for her. This is just what she had wanted, so we are so very pleased for her. She still has a little work to finish and will graduate soon after she returns from Christmas leave. YIPPEE! She is really trying hard to get out of GL before it gets all snowed in tomorrow, but it doesn't look good. What all do you know about Gulfport? Was Beau at Kessler AFB while he was down there? What did he think about the area? Did yall go down there to visit him? Please share all of your mom's info with me....What all are Beau and Bren up to these days? Hope you are doing ok. (((Hugs))) from your Texas friend
