Stage of (Sailor’s) Navy Career?
Enlisted
When I heard “Navy,” I:
Was concerned or afraid, Needed to learn more about it, Was proud, Encouraged him/her, Said “No way!”
From my experience with the Navy, the most important thing I learned was:
that I can show no fear. He is a man who has made a huge decision. He is firm in his conviction to do this. I did not want him to go off worrying about me. We are very close. It sure is hard to keep a stiff upper lip but I do it for him.
Through this Navy experience, I now believe:
Our relationship has grown stronger, This was a maturing experience, The Navy has a lot to offer, This was the best decision he/she could have made
