When I heard “Navy,” I:
Was concerned or afraid
From my experience with the Navy, the most important thing I learned was:
The recruiters tell you what you want to hear so they will get you to sign up. The Navy helped make my son into the wonderful and respectful man that he is today.
Through this Navy experience, I now believe:
The Navy was not the right path for my loved one/me.

Brandonsmom,
Small world. We have lived at River Trails for 9 years. My sailor graduated bc in June 07. He is a storekeeper and is stationed in Washington state. He will be home on leave May 26th. Can't wait to see him. How about we have lunch. I work Mon-Fri, so how about May 30th? I can invite some of my other Navy Mom friends. Let me know. Would love to meet you.

that is amazing that they take them that tall.
I know my son has said the same thing about the height of the sailors too.
he is only 5 ft 7 inches.

the concert was very loud we were very close to the speakers which were 14 stories high.

Hi Brandonsmom,
Yes this was Rob's first time out. They just went down the coast a bit. I am glad that his first time was only 17 days because it gave him a chance to get acclimated to the situation. However, I am sure that he would love to visit the North Pole. Maybe some day. Thanks for telling me about the pictures. They were great!
