I did end up renting a car. We are flying into Milwaukie. We are staying at the Navy Lodge too. Have you made your reservations yet. Only 4 more Fridays!! I am so excited.

just talked to my husband and he said that the apartments are at the back gate. Does anyone know what they are called. Do you know of any others in the area that would be good to rent for me and my daughter

I got 3 calls today. One was at 4am, then at 6:30 and then at 12. He was waiting on flights. Should be in Pensacola by now. He was so glad to leave Great Lakes.

The hall was pretty cold. I don't know if long johns would be necessary but maybe gloves and a jacket. I am pretty warm usually though. I would arrive no later than 6:30. Have a great weekend. It will be your proudest moment ever.

My husband introduced me to Farr. It is so great that they had at least some fun while in boot camp. My husband had so many stories to tell. I just loved sitting there listening to him. What a great weekend!! I have never been more proud in my life.

Hi, We received a call too!! on Saturday. We spoke for about 20 minutes. He had mentioned that their Division is doing good and that they earned this phone call.

Hi Brenda, Junie B answered your question. IT is intense training. If someone does something wrong or the Div is not pulling its weight the entire division gets punished. This includes mountain climbers, leg lifts (with combat boots on) 8-count body builders, jumping Jacks, sit-ups and arm circles. Of course during this whole time they are being yelled at. My son says he was really sore from this. But they got through it.

Sadly no, his schooling is about 3 hours away from where I currently live now and we can't afford to move on our own with him so....we have to wait until he's done with school and we get moved for free. :-\ Money sucks but....its how we all live.
