About me:
I am a moderator for Navy Moms on yahoo and just want to come see what info you have and be of assistance if anyone needs any. My daughter Julie is a sailorette vet and still lives where her last station was in WA state. She's a disabled vet with chemical induced asthma but doing very well. Julie and Aaron have been together since '04 and they have his two boys Colby and Chase and then the baby Conner.

I have been married for almost 30 years to Bob, we also have a son Rob who is the Dad of our Kylie and Leah is married to Jason and they are expecting their first baby in Jan '10. I am a nurse and work in Coeur D Alene Idaho.

From my experience with the Navy, the most important thing I learned was:
You have to trust your sailor, guide them and give your thoughts but let them do what needs to be done.
Through this Navy experience, I now believe:
It was positive and maturing. Our relationship has grown stronger.

Hi my daughter is on a ship out of Japan. I want to send breads:bananna, cranberry,etc. Is this a good idea. Just perused the care package group for several pages & didnt see any specific info about sending breads. What do you put on the sheets describing whats inside? Thank you-I didnt know where to look for the answer. Im also a nurse-daughter is 20. Thanks

Carla, Hi can you tell me an address or two to send goodies for sailors to share in Afghanistan. My little one and his school have started to collect Halloween Candy, that did not get handed out(sounds better than leftovers) to send to our Sailors. Coudl you provide me with an address.
