About me:
I am a moderator for Navy Moms on yahoo and just want to come see what info you have and be of assistance if anyone needs any. My daughter Julie is a sailorette vet and still lives where her last station was in WA state. She's a disabled vet with chemical induced asthma but doing very well. Julie and Aaron have been together since '04 and they have his two boys Colby and Chase and then the baby Conner. Now we are going to be adding Aaron's great nephew Hayden to our family. Julie and Aaron are going to be able to have him in their family.

I have been married for 30+ years to Bob, We also have a son Rob who is the Dad of our Kylie and Leah is married to Jason and their little one, Gabe. I am a nurse and work in Coeur D Alene Idaho.

There is no selection for my daughter to be a "veteran" so I've put "retired" but she wasn't. She actually is a disabled vet from the jet fuels. Anyone want to join with me and get them to at least have a "veteran" choice? HA!
I am here to support or represent my:
Son/Daughter
Stage of (Sailor’s) Navy Career?
Retired from the Navy
When I heard “Navy,” I:
Needed to learn more about it
From my experience with the Navy, the most important thing I learned was:
You have to trust your sailor, guide them and give your thoughts but let them do what needs to be done.
Through this Navy experience, I now believe:
It was positive and maturing. Our relationship has grown stronger.

My navy vet sailorette Julie

Hi My name is Terry my son is on ship he gave me an address to ship goodies to him. Do I use flat rate? Do I have to fill out customs papers and if so where would I get them from? It is a funny address he said just to write that on the package. Please could you provide me with some answers? thank you.

Thank you for getting back to me! I did find someone to give him a hug.  Not, through the avenues that I was originally thinking. I have had a hard time figuring out the ins and outs of just what I can do to support him, expecially with the limitations in THU and communication.

Hi, Carla. Just joined. I do have a question. Why does the site keep booting me to login again. I usually have to login several times just to do anything. Frustrating. Any tips will help.

Idaho summers can be big deal! Yes, if you have a minute to stop by the clinic, that would be great! I work every week day, usually there by 9 and leave by 5ish. My cell 699-7901. But if you want to spur of the moment stop, that is sometimes the best way that I roll! Monica

My life is pretty strange right now, so no worries about missing Friday, I forgot too! Breakfast would be fine. I could meet wherever, Hayden is closer to my work, but CDA would be fine too. Mondays & Tuesdays are not the best days, but Wed thru Friday are all good, Or even a Sat morning if fine. This week not Saturday, however, helping a friend paint her hair salon. What do you think? Let me know, now that I have narrowed it down a bit.
