About me:
Proud mother of both my sons, the eldest is a US Navy Hospital Corpsman stationed at NAF Atsugi, Japan. The youngest is 13 and still home with me. :-) A few years ago I told a friend that I was so glad I would never have to worry about any of my sons joining the military. Well THAT certainly changed, but I could not be more proud of his choice than I am! BZ, son!!

I am the mother of a United States Service Member.
My child gave me this title.
I will give him a heart full of wonder at his accomplishments and a voice that praises his desire to serve.
I will place my faith in his military training and in God’s protection. I will give him the prayers that will follow him where I cannot.
I will be strong when I want to cry and brave when I want to cower.
He will know that I am behind him every step of the way.
Because I bear the title of Mother of a United States Service Member.

Hi, Carol!

I noticed you have a "Kim from Tennessee". I am also a Kim from Tennessee. My son, Kurt is stationed in Japan and currently on sea tour. I am so thrilled to find other moms that are in the same situation I am. Gosh, I miss him a lot. My oldest daughter and I just finished putting his Christmas box together to ship tomorrow.

Hi Carol, I saw in the japan group that you got your son a cheap ticket. I was wondering what airlines did you use? My son is coming from Fukuoka, then transfer to Toyko. Thanks
