Thank you to all! We are so excited to not only see Ashlee, but to meet our grandson. Looking forward to seeing Florida and all the Jacksonville has to offer. I hope we can see some of it, but most of my time will be spent with Ashlee and Braydon.

I am a wife to a very wonderful man. Been married for 17 years. I am also the mother of 2 beautiful daughters and a grandmother to a little girl. Ashlee has been with the Navy since August 2007. She is an MA and is stationed in Mayport, Florida.

Hey Carrie,
I Thank You for your Prayers.
I don't have any idea where I will run to...lol
I just know that I don't want to be around during another hurricane. I heard today that its not going to be as bad as they first thought, and that it may stay far enough east of us to only give us some rain and winds. I hope thats the case.
Oh we get those tornadoes too....I hate those thunder storms. We have so many trees and hills that the tornades can sneak up on us and be on top of us before we ever see it. Is that how it is where you are?
How are you and your family doing? Fine, I hope. We are all doing fine, I guess. Trying to hang in there...lol

Hey Carrie,
I'm so GLAD that Ashlee is doing good and got back fine. I bet she is in AWE of everything she is doing and seeing. I know I would be.
Crystal is doing good, she said that all she did on her mission was ride around the ocean...lol She was bored to death. She did say she saw some dolphins, and a shark...lol Her "boyfriend" got back from his vacation on Sunday, so she has been up his butt and has not called me...lol He's from New Mexico and went home for a month. She says that after so many months over there, that they can take some time off and come home, but they have to pay for their own airline tickets. If Crystal has to save money for that, I won't see her until her time is up, and the Navy pays for her to come home...lol She is a shopper...lol She likes to buy clothes and girly stuff....lol
I hope ya'll are doing well.
It looks like we are going to get a hurricane this weekend....UGH I'll be leaving town..lol Hurricane Hugo came through here at a cat. 1 in 1989 and I had a nervious break down. I refuse to live through another one...lol Its not enough that we just got 10 inches of rain from Fay, and got us out of the draught, now we're going to be flooded and tornadoes....UGH I hate storms...lol
I guess I'll let you go, and talk to you later

Hey Carrie,
Sorry it took so long to get back to you. I called Crystal andshe said that Ashlee would be back in a couple days. Crystal is taking Ashlee's replacement crew to the airport, and then she said that Ashlee would be back in a couple days. Crystal got back on Mon. and was not let off until Tues. but, she called Mon. afternoon.
I would assume that she'll be back on Sun. or Mon.
If I hear anything I'll let you know first thing.

How are you holding up?
Crystal called tonight. She said that Ashlee had called you too.
I'm freakin' out...I hope these 4 days go fast.
Crystal told me that her and Ashlee would be together on their missions too. I was glad to hear that. It makes me feel a lot better.

Thank you Carrie for your kind words. I did hear from him when arrived and he also purchased a cell phone. He tells me he has free incoming calls to call him whenever for now until he gets off "HOLD". He will start his classes within the next 3 weeks.
