Im a stay at home mom with 3 kids. My oldest who is 17 has enlisted into the Navy although he does not graduate till May 2009.

Encouraged him/her
From my experience with the Navy, the most important thing I learned was:
I will have to come back and fill this part out after he has been in for a while.

I don't know for sure of any in Bullhead City, however there's a few in the vicinity of Lake Havasu . . . including a recruiter, which is a GREAT source for getting questions answered:)! You still have plenty of time to check things out, and 'learn the ropes' before your son leaves . . . I was TOTALLY in the dark a year ago (my son left Jan 29, 2008) but have found tremendous support and friendship here:)!

Hi Carrie, Welcome to NFM:)! We have a group for those from or with ties to Arizona and would love to have you join . . . we've also had several get-togethers, potlucks, etc. and you would be welcome at any future gatherings:)!
There's a group for DEPPER's (in, but not yet) where you can connect with others who have future sailors on the same time frame as you . . . please let me know if I can help you find answers to any questions you may have:)!

We are so glad that you are here! This is a great place to meet others that know exactly how you feel!
We have something for everyone here groups from boot camp moms to overseas moms and moms that like to scrap book. We have meet and greets to events that the moms set up to meet each other and have dinner or an outing. There are groups to help you with each and every step of this wonderful adventure that our children have chosen called the US Navy.

Please tell us about your sailor and what they have chosen to do in the navy and ohh yeah we LOVE pictures of everyone !!
