My son is in Pensacola and he loves it. He stayed in great lakes for 6 weeks and just went to Pensacola on August 30.

My son is in div 247, he just called. They have BS on Sunday.
It was good to hear from him. He has a cold also, but is feeling better now.

It will get better as time goes by. My son has called about 5 times since he has been gone, and he writes every week. He has about 17 days left. I am so ready to see him!
The first few weeks were the hardest. Hang in There!
My son is at Boot Camp now and they pulled his wisdom teeth on the second week. He also said thier was about 50 more that had it done too. I was worried it was going to put him back for graduation but it hasn't. Hang in there.
my son left on May 19 I really miss him...... I just say a little prayer for him everyday.

he called last night to let me know he made it. it was short and sweet.

- Thanks! Kyile isn't going to A school right away anymore. He is going to another boot camp for the Ceremonial Guards in D.C. which is where he will be stationed for 2 years. Then after he completes those 2 years, he will go to A school and then go into another job. So your son is in Div 247 too? Kyile is their master at arms I believe....

We have meet and greets to events that the moms set up to meet each other and have dinner or an outing. There are groups to help you with each and every step of this wonderful adventure that our children have chosen called the US Navy.
