how long does it take from start of BESS to get orders? I am still waiting on the okay for us to move up there he was told we should be able to but i d k..

on base. we dont know orders after BESS right yet, but hopefully he'll get them soon

Wow...Congratulations! You should put some of your wedding pictures up! Did you have the big formal wedding? Was Daniel able to come home for the wedding? We had been together for almost 2 years before we got married, but have known each other for 6. We planned our wedding in 6 days...so that we could be married before he went and signed the Navy contract! His Recruiter told us to do that, since he knew that we were going to get married eventually anyways. We just had our immediate family and a couple of very close friends that might as well be family there. We got married in my church, which my great Uncle is the pastor of...so it was very small and intimate. I didn't really care about the big, formal wedding because unfortunately, I've been married once before. Mike, on the other hand told me a long time ago that he has always wanted the big, formal wedding...so we are talking about and considering possibley having that once he is done with C-school. It's not a positive thing yet, and I don't really care too much about it, but since I know that it's something that he wants, I'm willing to do it again. Time will tell, I guess.

Yeah, I'm ok now! I had another episode a couple of weeks ago and went back into the hospital, but it was because my sugar was extremely low...not as sick or extreme as the first time. we are working on getting my insulin adjusted...they were giving me too much this last time! And...I am trying to stay as stress free as possible...and so far it's working...so hopefully nothing like that happens again! How long have you been married?

Well, I know a little about housing, but not really that much. I am a diabetic, and not quite a month ago, I got really sick and ended up in a diabetic coma in the hospital. I was so bad, that they didn't know for a little while if I was going to make it, so the Red Cross had to send Mike home for a week from bootcamp, so I am a "special case" as far as most go because of my health. The doctors figured that the high sugars were caused from stress...probably from us being seperated. We actually had special permission for me to move to Connecticut a couple weeks ago, but the Navy wouldn't pay for it or give us base housing at that time. Because of the circumstances, as soon as he passes BESS, they are going to pay to move me out there, which they do anyway, but we are automatically guaranteed base housing without having to be put on the waiting list like most people have to be. It's crazy...but we are using this to our advantage, so that we can be together as soon as possible, since it was offered to us. He is really concerned about me, and wants me there with him so that he can take care of me and make sure that I am ok.

Yeah, I can't wait to get there...but as far as the cold goes, I should be ok, I live in Michigan, so I'm used to the freezing weather...it's like that hear right now, LOL!

Yes, I'm moving to Connecticut as soon as I am able to! I am leaving on October 30th for a weekend visit to Connecticut until November 3rd and I can't wait! I am so excited...every time I start to talk about it, I actually get butterflies in stomach...it's crazy! We were only married 3 months before he left for bootcamp...so it is an experience! I'm not sure who's more excited about the trip...him or I!

Hello...nice to meet you. I will have to ask the hubby if he knows yours. I know that I get to move sometime around the end of November, but I'm not sure when we will get the exact move date yet. All I know is that it won't be soon enough, and I can't wait!
