About me:
Hello everyone!!! My sailor left on 4/14/09 and will PIR on 6/12/09!I am a proud girlfriend of three years, hopefully many years to come, to my sailor!We have a beautiful baby boy Giovanni that will be two in July. Our recruit is the center of both our worlds and the distance has been miserable!! He graduated from UMD '08 in business and I am currently in my third year at St. Mary's College of Maryland as a Biology and Psychology Pre-med student. We are dying to have him back but are very proud because in this family being in the navy is old school :)

Eventually I as well am thinking about joining after my four years undergrad and before medschool. I'm just afraid of leaving the little one with the grandparents all the time. Luckily my bf is only joining as a reservist and will be home. I think to myself though, if I can't handle BC how would I survive the navy wife?

When I heard “Navy,” I:
Was proud and encouraged it
From my experience with the Navy, the most important thing I learned was:
My father is a retired senior Chief that did 24 years! The same goes for my boyfriend's dad a Chief retired 20 years! So far the most important thing I have learned is that they take immense care of the families and it can get hard but cherish every moment you have with them! Its crazy that i'm going through this again because I never thought I would with my future husband!
Through this Navy experience, I now believe:
It was positive and maturing. Our relationship has grown stronger.

14 days!

WOW I look back and it feels like time has flown! During the experience each day seemed like it took forever but N4M has definitely kept me going! I can't WAIT till PIR :) whenever I read PIR experiences from other members I about lose it and pride swells up so much in myself! I am so proud of ALL OUR SAILORS!!! 36 more days! It feels like the longest in my life!

Wow! 36 more days! I mean I feel like such a little baby :( some wives and moms have to deal with their sons/husbands at IRAQ and its for 12-18 months on end....I can't even deal with 2 months. I know its because its the first. but its so tough! my son doesn't seem to notice too too much because he is a mama's boy at heart anyway! we nursed for a year and still don't think he's completely over that yet lol! hahah oh my god you are hilarious!!!! hahah i hope you find an "appropriate" dress! i guess that coat thing wouldn't work out! and oh no i hope your son is semi calm for the ceremony!! haha if i see him climbing around ill give him my mom voice and tell him to stop making his mommy flash everyone running after you!! lol im sure you'll find one! or you could wear tights with the white on and boots??? that would be CUTE!! lol

haha ok good! i thought you fell off the face of the earth!!! hahaha o my god im sooo sorry. hahah i totally know what you mean about your butt making it look shorter!! i had that but because im tall my legs make everything look super short!! hahah and i know im never going to find a wedding dress, we should start looking now=) hahah. well GOOD luck!! i really hope you find one! and if you dont just wear a coat over it and take it off when you see fonso!!
ummmmm NO!!!!! chris didnt say anything about grad n go=( im really stressing=( because my flight is on saturday so i would have to leave if he did get liberty in GL=( ughh. its so stressful.... i want to fly out to VA if they do get liberty!!!i hope they call today and let us know!! but he did say they get until ONE OCLOCK with us. then they have to go to the airport!!i hope thats how it is!! i couldnt handle 45 minutes. i would fake a heart attack or something so he could stay longer!! when do you leave to go home? ughh. i just pray it all works out! i mean it will. i know it will. its going to be AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i can't freaking wait!
