Profile Information

About me:
Hello friends, well my intro is that I am 37, married, mother of four. My oldest and only daughter, Felicia, joined the US NAVY one year ago after high school graduation and is currently stationed aboard the USS BOXER. I have come to know and understand her ambition in life and so I am here to support her and meet others that share my same emotions.

From my experience with the Navy, the most important thing I learned was:
How important it was for her to succeed. And that the Navy was always challenging her to do more!
Through this Navy experience, I now believe:
It was positive and maturing. Our relationship has grown stronger.

Hello Christina,
Navy For Moms didn’t exist until March 2008. N4Ms has been God send for so many of us, providing an incredible internet support system – a place to ask questions, express our concerns and share our joys. Since you live in Northern California, I just want to invite you to join the Northern California Navy Moms Group. We have had four get-togethers this month. We have one more event coming up in October - opportunity to meet other Navy moms.

Sept 5 - San Francisco (6 attended)
Sept 9 - Sacramento (14 attended)
Sept 13 - Nevada City (5 attended)
Sept 20 - San Jose (11 attended)
October 25 - Los Altos - upcoming

What a beautiful song and slide presentation. Maybe we can meet in SD. I'm off to a homeschool convention with my daughter today. I don't plan on being on the site much as I have a lot on my plate these days. I'm very thankful for Navy4Moms. Take Care.

Hello Christina, I received a few emails from son and I asked him if he knows your daughter and he said yes what a small world. He said wow I'm glad your in the navy moms. What a way to make new friends. So I hope we all get to meet soon or at the Homecoming.

It's beginning to look like Raven will not be back in Norfolk until sometime next February. Our plan is to be there but it's such a ways off, we will just have to wait and see.
