About me:
I'm married with two boys. My oldest son is in the Navy and on the USS Boxer. My younger son is in 9th grade and wants to join the service also. It seems I may be a "service" mom for quite a while.
I am here to support or represent my:
Child/Stepchild

When I heard “Navy,” I:
Was proud and encouraged it
From my experience with the Navy, the most important thing I learned was:
Never believe anything until it actually happens. :)
Through this Navy experience, I now believe:
It was positive and maturing. Our relationship has grown stronger.

2009 USS Boxer Tiger Cruise

My 14 year old is planning on joining the Tiger Cruise this summer with my Navy son. Is there anyone out there who is planning on attending this particular cruise also?

We are so glad that you are here! This is a great place to meet others that know exactly how you feel!
We have something for everyone here groups from boot camp moms to overseas moms and moms that like to scrap book. We have meet and greets to events that the moms set up to meet each other and have dinner or an outing. There are groups to help you with each and every step of this wonderful adventure that our children have chosen called the US Navy.

Please tell us about your sailor and what they have chosen to do in the navy and ohh yeah we LOVE pictures of everyone !!

I see that your son is on the Boxer. My dad was in the Navy for 24 years and was also on the Boxer! He still goes to reunions for this ship.
