Ginny (Robert's Mom) said… - Cindy, we are going to try to get together for dinner on Thursday, Oct. 8th at 5:30 or 6:00 p.m. at the Village Tavern near Hanes Mall. I hope you can join us. How is Austin? How was your trip to Goose Creek? For me it is so comforting to know our boys are there, not too far away and that it will be a long time before they deploy.

- The graduation was beautiful. There were 60 graduates, Robert's class of MMs and another class of mixed ETs & EMs. The speeches were inspiring but short and the sailors were seated so they could enjoy it too. Not too many parents/relatives attended. I'm so glad we did. The ceremony is held in the classroom building so we could see a lot of the campus from there. The Villas are great, not fancy but very very clean and right on the base. We stayed there 2 nights and I highly recommend it. I'm so happy to have Robert at home.

- I'm so glad Austin is doing well and that you will be going to visit him next weekend. We're staying at the Villas so I'll let you know what that's like. We are bringing Robert home with us for 10 days leave after his graduation. Maybe I'll get to see Austin! I would love to meet him. Take care and I'll let you know how it goes at graduation.

- HI Cindy, how are you doing? Have you recovered from the wedding? I know how hectic that can be. How is Austin? I hope he was able to come home for the wedding. We are going down for Robert's A School graduation on Sept. 4th and if you have anything we can bring to Austin let me know. I've been sending a care package to Robert about every other week and it gets expensive! Robert gets to come home for 10 days leave after graduation. He is so ready for a break. He has a test this Friday and then his comps the following Monday. It's been 6 months since he left for BC and this is his first trip home. How does Austin like it so far? Would he want to come home for the Labor Day weekend? We could give him a ride here on Friday if he had another way of getting back.

- Hey - how did things go? Did Austin get to the wedding? How was the wedding?
Everything was wonderful for us! The wedding was beautiful and relaxed and Garry along with two friends got to spend the entire week-end with us! God is Great! Oh, I loved it!

Enjoy your wedding. I had thought about seeing if we could bring Austin back with us, but Matt's brother and Grandmother are comming too, so not much room in the car. How is Austin doing?

- That's great - about the test! Isn't it a wonderful feeling! I will be praying for Austin with his next test - and also that he will get to the wedding. We are still praying Garry gets to make it as well. I know God has it all under control - and we just have to accept that. I realize that this is a part of life from now on: never knowing when we will see Garry, whether he will be a part of big events in our lives, etc. But I know God put him where he is and He will care for him there! Just hard to let go!
I forgot - you have probably told me before - but is Austin in A-School and or Power School?
