About me:
I am a mother of a 25 year old son named Bandon who was sworn in this morning (11/18/08). He is currently in the air headed toward Great Lakes, Ill. He is excited about this new phase of his life; I am too, as well as a little apprehensive. What will it be like for him? What will he be like when he returns? Reading this forum this evening has given me great hopes that he will be an even better person than the one I said goodbye to this afternoon. It helped my overcome the sadness of knowing he isn't close by any more, or at least for 3-4 months! I have to remind myself that he is 25, not 18. He isn't a child, although he is MY child. I think being a part of this forum will help me a great deal.
I am here to support or represent my:

Stage of (Sailor’s) Navy Career?

When I heard “Navy,” I:
Was proud, Encouraged him/her
From my experience with the Navy, the most important thing I learned was:
well, I'm really new so I don't know if I have learned anything yet.
Through this Navy experience, I now believe:
The Navy has a lot to offer, This was the best decision he/she could have made

Hello & Welcome to N4M’s!
My name is Catherine the Admin and I want to thank you for joining us! To help you know the “Do’s and Don’ts” for the community- I wrote up a quick little ditty for you to read. So click here and read them (pretty please with a cherry on top because the rules are enforced)! If you have any questions, comments, or concerns afterwards- please don’t hesitate to contact me.
So, enjoy your time here and I'm looking forward (along with the community) to reading more about you. :D
Sincerely, Catherine
