Profile Information

About me:
I am a working Mom in the medical field. My son is currently at Great Lakes after almost 1 1/2 years. I'm glad he joined one of the safest branch of the military at this time.
I am here to support or represent my:
Son/Daughter
Stage of (Sailor’s) Navy Career?
Waiting to leave for Boot Camp
When I heard “Navy,” I:
Was concerned or afraid
Through this Navy experience, I now believe:
It was positive and maturing. Our relationship has grown stronger.
My son is going thru radar tech and repair, and waiting on C-school. He injured himself thru a stupid accident during PT, and has been on hold ever since. He should be shipping out to C-school soon, which is too bad, he JUST bought a new car. Sometime in August, he's off to Virginia for 40 working days, then to Virginia Beach for another 45 working days to finish C-School. After that, off to Hawaii for 4+ years, assigned to the USS Chung-Hoon. Gonna have to start saving up now, so I can go see him in Hawaii when he's off ship.
