It's Official

Well, we just got back from Maryland. It is official... they are married! Mr. & Mrs. Brian Lawson, Jr. Best wishes always for the new couple. Will add pics soon, toooo tired right now.. lol Had a great time (even if it was cold & rainy the entire time). It was so well worth it to see two people who love each other so much finally unite in marriage. They waited so long and I am so proud. Another wedding next month then all kids will be married... bunch of grandkids in the future I hope!

Count down is on!

Well we have a week and a half before the wedding! Counting down the days, Mayumi will arrive in Maryland on Thursday, son is so excited and stressed. Doing Military job, working another Government job, taking three classes and getting married... I would be stressed to. They have been waiting for this day for a long time, can't wait!
Thanks to all

Time at Home

Hey Y'all,
I can hardly believe it.... Both my military boys are coming home for a visit at the same time..... very rare! My Navy son will actually be home for his birthday. It has been four years sense I spent an actual birthday with him. I am so excited. My youngest (Air Force) is also coming home. He starts his missions over the mid-east in a few weeks (scary but proud). I can't wait to get a family picture again =). Happy Armed Forces Day to all military and their families <3

Hi Dawn, welcome to Navy for Mom's:)) You will find a lot of answers, support and encouragement here. My daughter, Ashley, has been in the Navy since July 2007 and is an IT. What is your son/daughter doing with the Navy? If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask. I'm glad you joined and look forward to hearing more about you & your Sailor. Pat
