When I heard “Navy,” I:
Was proud, Encouraged him/her
From my experience with the Navy, the most important thing I learned was:

Through this Navy experience, I now believe:

Hey Deanna, you need to update your profile girl! It's been a long time and it looks like a lot has happened with Krista since. Just saw your post in one of the Corpsmen discussions and wanted you to know you have my support and prayers for Deanna as she deploys. Hang in there Mama! keep in touch with your HM sisters. You'll need them now more than ever. (((HUGS))) and blessings to you!
Hi Deanna,
I joined NY Moms and just saw that we both live in Clifton Park. I'm discovering that it really is a small world! My son just PIR'd on 8/15 and is also in A school in GL (for electronics) - maybe sometime we could catch up for coffee - Terri
Hi Deanna, just checking up on you. How are you faring? How's Krista? Mark took and passed test # 4 on Monday, # 5 is tomorrow. Corps school is no walk in the park! He seems to be enjoying the challenge though. Hope your girl was able to slide right back in and stay focused. You're both still in my prayers! (((HUGS))) to you.
Deanna, saw your post on the Corpsmen Moms site. Just wanted to say that my prayers are with you and your family during this difficult time. Is the ill Grandpa the one in your pictures above? Looks like they are very close. Is it your Dad? I'm so sorry! I hope Krista is able to get home in time to say goodbye. She's a beautiful girl and must be very smart and compassionate too if she chose to be a Corpsman. :) Not a lot of girls went in with my son's class. Lean on her newfound strength and grieve together. May you find comfort in your memories and just being together. God Bless you both.
