Your son does not know where his first duty station will be- he hasn't even gone to A school yet! First things first. I say don't worry until you have to. God only gives grace for one day and worry wastes it. :o) Breathe, mom.

I am here to support or represent my:
Son/Daughter
Stage of (Sailor’s) Navy Career?
In the NROTC program
When I heard “Navy,” I:
Was proud and encouraged it
From my experience with the Navy, the most important thing I learned was:
Well I don't have to much experience with the navy but my daughters boyfriend is also in the navy. The most important thing that I learned was that every branch of service has it's own level of intensity. I learned that my son was a bit nervous because he's not use to this kind of discipline, but it will make him strong, appreciative of life, and become very educated. And I am so proud of being a military mom, I'm so thankful to God that He chose me to be Frankie's mother.

Hi Deb! How's things going? I hope all is well with you. Sorry, I did not respond to you about the music but I see that you got it. You go girl! I have been busy, busy. Been out of town several times and then my child I got at home is in what seems like everything in school so she keeps me running. Not complaining because that's a good thing, don't have to worry about her getting into any trouble.
Anyway I was just reaching out to check on you.

there are many nice hotels close to the base to stay at look at the PIR brochure and call around to get a good rate, the navy does not give you ha hotel room for this. I suggest that you go the day before the graduation as grad begins at 9 am and you will need to be there to the base by 8 am to get through the security and to the hall. The graduation weekend they will have liberty and be allowed to hang out with you if they are a grad and go that will be listed in the brochure that they send to you

enjoy your time with your new sailor
