I've been to two PIR's now!! I STRONGLY suggest taking a "shuttle" (really, just a taxi) into PIR and back. MUCH BETTER than trying to park on base!! Faster and easier!!

- I am nineteen years young. My husband & I just got married March 20th. He is enlisted as of aug 13th. Our family consists of just the two of us & our 80lb loving (still thinks hes a lap) dog. I Have absolutely no idea what the next year of my life is going to be like. I know the order in which things go. But as some of you may know its probably wiser to realize now that you have no clue whats going to happen. I am very excited for the adventure. I thought networking would be a good idea. My Hubby is going in for S.E.C.F. Honestly I dont know where to even start with being a Navy wife.

Thank you so much for bringing the spelling error to my attention!! It is Hopi Cir. in Prescott Valley. I gave detailed directions to my place on the events page. I did spell it right for that, lol. My son is 19 (well, he turns 19 next month) He is the kid behind me in my profile photo. His name is Michael Hollinhead if your hubby wants to look for him, I am praying for him to find someone else who is a Christian and they can encourage each other.

- Hi! I saw your posts on the Boot Camp group and thought I would say hi. I am not in your shoes exactly, but my son just left yesterday. He will also be SECF, which is a somewhat less common field I hear, so your husband and my son may cross paths. When does he leave? I can totally relate to your commenst about"navy this " and navy that:" haha. My husband was interested in the Marines in our early marriage and he drove me nuts with it! Anyways, if there is anything I can help at all with, let me know. You will learn a lot in the various groups here, you might want to join the SECF group, its not very busy but would be a good place to post questions about that. Mary
