Profile Information

About me:
Single mom of two daughters...work as a compression therapist on the Eastern Shore of Maryland.
I am here to support or represent my:
Son/Daughter
Stage of (Sailor’s) Navy Career?
Officer
When I heard “Navy,” I:
Was proud and encouraged it
From my experience with the Navy, the most important thing I learned was:
Having to remove my role as "mom" to a mother who listens to her daughter through all the good and bad. Constant support and encouragement is so important...especially when your daughter is a college graduate Ensign entering into an adversarial enviroment.
Through this Navy experience, I now believe:
It was positive and maturing. Our relationship has grown stronger.

Hi, it was a pleasure to meet you, I really had a wonderful time, I am sorry I had to leave so early. I can't wait to get together again and brag about our wonderful children. I am getting so excited. They have our PIR date posted on training command page ( how exciting) and in a couple of days they will list the honor graduates. How cool

Hi Denise - what year did your daughter graduate? hat company was she in? Is she based out of Norfolk now? Rachel graduated 2007 and just pinned her aviator wings in June and she also lives in Norfolk now. Wonder if our girls know each other.

Hi Denise,
I was talking to my son and he said he sees your daughter all the time! He said again that she is really nice. Just thought I would pass that along I know I would love to hear if someone heard something nice about my son. I just can't wait till Dec.!! I am sure you can't either!

I work with children, some of them have autism. I'm not familiar with Lymphedema but I asked because a friend of mine has been experiencing disc & back problems and had heard something about compression therapy being good for back pain. My daughter considered Mayport and Norfolk but isn't sure where she head next. We shall see what the Lord has in store for her next tour.

Sounds like your daughter really knows what she wants to do with her life. Thats how I feel about My son Rick. He tells me all the time about kids at the Academy who really dont know what they are doing or they really shouldn't be in the Navy. San Diego is so nice have you had a chance to visit her yet? I went in Dec. and it was beautiful but I really want to go wen weather is warmer. Lets try to get a get-together organized. If we say about a month from now I'm sure we can all agree to a place and a day. m.
