- When I heard “Navy,” I:
- Was proud and encouraged it
- From my experience with the Navy, the most important thing I learned was:
- Having to remove my role as "mom" to a mother who listens to her daughter through all the good and bad. Constant support and encouragement is so important...especially when your daughter is a college graduate Ensign entering into an adversarial enviroment.
- Through this Navy experience, I now believe:
- It was positive and maturing. Our relationship has grown stronger.

- Hi Denise - what year did your daughter graduate? hat company was she in? Is she based out of Norfolk now? Rachel graduated 2007 and just pinned her aviator wings in June and she also lives in Norfolk now. Wonder if our girls know each other.

I'm not familiar with Lymphedema but I asked because a friend of mine has been experiencing disc & back problems and had heard something about compression therapy being good for back pain. My daughter considered Mayport and Norfolk but isn't sure where she head next. We shall see what the Lord has in store for her next tour.
