- I'm not the parent of a Navy sailor, but my boyfriend is enlisted. We have been together for two and a half years. Johnny had his PIR March 13th and he is now in Penescola, FL for A school. I love hearing other people's stories, so feel free to talk to me!

- Was concerned or afraid
- From my experience with the Navy, the most important thing I learned was:
- the most important thing i've learned is probably that it's okay to miss him and have some bad days, but it's important to remember that just because you're far apart, it doesn't mean that he's going to forget about you.
- Through this Navy experience, I now believe:
- It was positive and maturing. Our relationship has grown stronger.

So your boyfriend is at A school right now?
Im doing great. Brian is working full time. and Im going to school full time. I am going to visit him the 1st week in May for 13 days!!! I cannot wait. Then he leaves for deployment May 26...for a month and a half.. This is our first deployment..and Im happy its only for a month. :)
Isnt it sooooo nice to be able to talk to them everyday?? hahahah I LOVE it :)
