Hello Dianne! Glad you could join us in Jax! I am proud to say I started the group and am so happy it's growing. They just built a new hanger building there to accomodate the squadrons coming from Maine. You son is year ahead of mine. He is still in VP-30.

we had about 9 inches and it was beautiful. I haven't seen a snow like that in a few years and as I grew up we had snowes like that all the time.

Hey I live in the mountains of NC we have a boat and my son loves to fish and we go the Mooresville alto to the lake there. Mooresville has really grown for the last little while!! we have been going there since my son was little and he is now 23 and has been in the Navy for 4 years now

About me:
My youngest son (age 19) joined the DEP program in high school, graduated high school in 2007, and went off to boot camp July 2007. He is an AT stationed with a squadron in Brunswick, Maine. He just received Jr.Sailor of the Quarter. I am really proud of him. He will be moving to Jacksonville Florida this summer.

Was proud, Encouraged him/her
From my experience with the Navy, the most important thing I learned was:
He's a grown man now. And making his own decisions. He still listens to my input, but the decision is his. I miss him but mostly I enjoy knowing he is doing what he wants to do.
Through this Navy experience, I now believe:
This was a maturing experience, The Navy has a lot to offer, This was the best decision he/she could have made
